There will be a short meeting on
Tuesday, 28 March 2017,
from 10am to 12pm at: DET Regional Offices, 109 Armstrong Street North, Ballarat.
We are going to discuss the year ahead in terms of Professional Development, and also look at the new Targets for Education as recently published by DET. This can be found on the following webpage:
www.education.vic.gov.au/about/educationstate/Pages/targets.aspx#what1
February 2017
Due to changes in the support we are receiving from DET, the format of the Pds will have to change this year.
Two factors are influencing the decision regarding the way PDs are going to be structured.
1) DET has negotiated with the Teacher Learning Network (TLN) to facilitate and provide Professional Learning available to the Networks. The Network leaders are still waiting for information from TLN regarding availability and format of PDs they are going to provide.
2) Our little committee has not yet swung into action! I will organise meetings soon, in order to plan the year, and will let you know as soon as any information becomes available.
I would also appreciate any inputs or requests from you as CRTs as to the content you would like to see in sessions organised.
